  2. Watch Smash Lab: Earthquake-Proof House username: seb_student pass: student
  3. Design your own system for an earthquake proof house based on what you watched. Draw, label, and color a system of your own, that you think would keep a house safe during an earthquake.
  4. Answer the following questions
    • What is your plan? How will your system combat the effects that an earthquake has on a house?
    • What materials would be used in your system? (ball bearings, springs, weights, etc.)
    • What are some places that we have been studying in Social Studies and Science where your system might be useful?
    • Why do you believe your system will keep a house safe during an earthquake?
